I highly recommend that you insert some sort of activity or interaction every ten minutes to keep your classes more interesting. Struggling for ideas on what to insert? Try asking people the following:
- What is one thing you learned from the last segment?
- How will you apply it to your job?
- What is one thing that isn't clear?
- Have someone in the class summarize the last segment.
It's not hard, it just takes some intentionality.
